Chromebook Insurance

Cost Breakdown:

  • 1st student = $35
  • 2nd student = $30
  • 3rd student = $25
  • 4th student = $20
  • 5th student = $20....

Coverage:

  • Coverage can be purchased during the first month of school (July 29, 2024 through Sept 06, 2024). The student(s) chromebook will need to be inspected prior to them purchasing insurance.
  • After September 6th, 2024, any student that does not have insurance will be liable for any repairs or replacements to either the Chromebook or the charger. 
  • If a repair is needed, Venture's tech team will charge the student account on PowerSchool and add the fee(s). These accounts will need to be closed out and paid before student either leaves Venture or graduates. 
  • The initial payment of $35 covers three free repairs (not including a lost/stolen device). If the device needs to be replaced, the insurance cost will be placed towards the overall cost of the replacement device.
  • You may receive a device with a cosmetic blemish that doesn’t hinder the performance of the device. You will not be charged for these blemishes.
  • Venture Academy Chromebook insurance DOES NOT cover misplaced, lost, or stolen devices. If a device has been stolen due to theft, vandalism, or damage to vehicle or home please contact your venture tech team.

NOTE: Any student that enrolls after the deadline will be given a one month grace period to purchase the insurance. Their official enrollment date determines their deadline.
