2024-2025
Welcome to the 2024 - 2025 school year! All students at Venture academy are on an independent study contract. This means that students’ attendance is based on the work they complete on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. A master agreement contract is signed each year by parent(s)/guardian(s), students, and teachers and outlines the responsibilities of each party. We will be hosting times for parent(s)/guardian(s) and students to come to sign master agreements prior to the first day of school.
The first day of school is August 6th.
There are a few changes and updates we would like to share:
We are excited for our new school year and are grateful you have chosen Venture Academy for your child’s educational journey. The Venture staff is committed to meeting your individual needs and we will approach your child’s learning with enthusiasm, creativity, compassion, and dedication. You are the reason we are here and together we will make this a great year!

The first day of school is August 6th.
- Ventureland will start school on August 6th with students attending their regular classes. It will be a minimum day, with school starting at 8am and ending at noon.
- All other programs and academies will be starting school with orientations on August 6th. The orientation schedule can be found here: English/Spanish
There are a few changes and updates we would like to share:
- Our Kindergarten program will be a full-day kindergarten, which is from 8am-1pm daily.
- Our new soccer field is complete and we will be able to use it this year for our PE programs as well as our sports programs.
- We have added a parent engagement specialist position and Maritza Rodriguez has accepted the position. She will be working to build more connection with our parent(s)/guardian(s) to better partner with you this school year.
